Whether you want a quiet relaxing early-morning swim, or a fun splash around with the family, Buckfastleigh Open Air Swimming Pool is a heated pool where everyone can enjoy the benefits of open air swimming.


About us
We’re in an historic town on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, in an area of natural beauty. What better place to have fun and keep fit at the same time? Find out more about the facilities at our pool.
Adult single swim £6.50, child and concession £4.50. We offer a "12 for the price of 10" ticket and also our TQ11 Pass for the Saturday and Sunday Set Sessions for young people living in Buckfastleigh is £2.25 per session or £20 per month.

History
The Hamlyn family, prominent benefactors and original owners of the woollen mills, gave Victoria Park and the swimming pool to the town of Buckfastleigh in 1887 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.

Get involved
Buckfastleigh Open Air Pool cannot survive without the help of volunteers. There are lots of ways you can get involved. You will be joining a lively group, passionate about saving our pool. So come on, join the team!

Tuck shop
UPDATE! The tuck shop is back in operation!
Our tuck shop serves hot and cold drinks, sweets, ice-cream, snacks and more. In the winter, we serve hot chocolate and cake for our intrepid cold-water swimmers!
